Self-taught systems-minded developer bridging the gap between mobile apps, embedded devices, and production infrastructure. Founder of PellTech — I build software that talks to hardware that talks to other software, and keep it all running reliably.
My path from finishing carpenter to iOS developer might seem unconventional, but both professions share a common thread: precision problem-solving with physical constraints.
In carpentry, I learned to read blueprints, measure twice, cut once, and troubleshoot when things don't fit. That same mindset applies to software — except my materials are Swift, Python, and infrastructure rather than wood and hardware.
What makes me different from most mobile developers is that I speak the language of hardware and systems. When I built Pwnagotchi Companion, I wasn't just making an iOS app — I was designing a complete ecosystem: SwiftUI on the frontend, WebSocket communication, a custom Python plugin running on a Raspberry Pi, and Core Bluetooth integration with the actual device. I've run a Proxmox homelab to host all of it, with Docker containers, reverse proxies, and automated backups because I believe developers should own their infrastructure.
If you're looking for someone who can build the app AND understand the infrastructure it runs on, let's talk.
A paid iOS companion app for the Pwnagotchi Wi-Fi auditing device. Full SwiftUI interface with real-time WebSocket data, live stats display, and Core Bluetooth control over Raspberry Pi Zero W.
The marketing and product site for PellTech — built with Next.js using a mobile-first approach. Clean, fast, and SEO-optimized to drive App Store conversions and showcase all PellTech products.
Full production website for a construction company. Custom CSS animations, AWS S3/CloudFront CDN, 30% load time reduction, and a CMS workflow built for non-technical staff.
A native iOS app for monitoring and controlling multiple Docker instances remotely. Provides real-time container health status, logs, and controls from your iPhone — no third-party services required.
A Python utility that converts Trakt export files into the correct import format — solving a real pain point for users migrating watch history, ratings, and watchlists between accounts. Earned 5 GitHub stars organically.
A custom voice assistant built on Raspberry Pi using Picovoice, Porcupine wake-word detection, and Rhino intent recognition. Inspired by KITT from Knight Rider — local, private, and fast.
From concept to $1,700+ in revenue — the real story of building, launching, and supporting Pwnagotchi Companion on the App Store.
A technical deep-dive into the architecture behind Pwnagotchi Companion — Core Bluetooth, Python backend, and real-time data sync.
Local, private, and fast — how I built a KITT-inspired voice assistant without sending a single word to the cloud.
